Lawmakers have taken a giant step to protect the Abra River basin, which is among the country’s five biggest rivers, after the House Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization approved House bill 2653 filed by Abra Rep. Joseph Sto. Nino Bernos, seeking to establish the Abra River Basin Development Authority (ARBDA).
